Aston Scott is a top 50 insurance broker, primarily focussed on the South East of England but with offices in the West Country and Scotland. From being established in 1993 by Andrew Scott it developed through both organic growth and a series of acquisitions.
How we helped
Aston Scott were looking to modernise their commercial business processes to drive efficiency and maximise the benefits available through commercial lines e-trade and business process automation.
Following an extensive selection process Aston Scott determined the Acturis platform was the ideal fit for their business and growth aspirations. However, Aston Scott wanted to minimise the business risks associated with such a large scale digital transformation programme and Acturis recommended Plot 60.
The objectives
Plot 60 were asked to manage the end-to-end implementation of their brand new Acturis software-as-a-service cloud-based platform, migrating the existing business from a legacy broking platform to the new solution.
Our approach
The Plot 60 team worked alongside Aston Scott senior stakeholders to design a phased implementation plan that was executed in across the business locations in order to minimise the risks to the business through impact on customers or the day-to-day operation of the business.
Business outcome
The project was a huge success, delivered on-time and within budget.
The Plot 60 team were able to accommodate and complete a number of additional business acquisitions completed by Aston Scott during the programme, dealing with the migration of business and customer data from the acquired legacy systems.
